In Alaska, darkness isn't seasonal — it's a daily reality for 6 months of the year.

Anchorage gets as little as 5 hours of daylight in December. Upgraded LED lighting isn't an aesthetic choice — it's a safety upgrade every Alaska driver should have. Our installations are wired properly with relays, fuses, and weatherproof connectors built for -40°F.

Professional Wiring
Makes All the Difference

Consumer LED kits bought online are unregulated — many flicker, blind oncoming traffic, or fail within a year. Our installations use high-quality LEDs with proper beam patterns, wired with relays and fuses that protect your electrical system and prevent fire risk.

  • Proper beam pattern — no blinding oncoming drivers
  • Relay-wired — no overloading factory circuits
  • Weatherproof connectors rated for -40°F operation
  • DOT-compliant headlights that pass AK inspection
  • Factory plug-and-play fitment on most vehicles

LED Lighting
FAQ

Will LED headlights pass Alaska vehicle inspection?
Yes, if installed correctly with proper beam alignment and DOT-compliant bulbs. We use DOT-compliant LED kits and aim them properly. Incorrectly aimed or low-quality imported LEDs often cause glare and fail inspection.
How much brighter are LED headlights vs. halogen?
Quality LED headlights produce 6,000–8,000 lumens vs. 1,000–1,500 lumens for halogen. That's 4–6x more usable light on the road. The color temperature (5,000–6,000K) also provides better contrast in snow and rain.
Do you install aftermarket light bars in Alaska?
Yes. We install curved and straight light bars from 10" to 50" on trucks, Jeeps, SUVs, and UTVs. All wiring includes a relay, fuse, and weatherproof switch — not a cheap inline switch.
Can you do work truck emergency lighting?
Absolutely. We install amber strobe lightbars, hide-away strobes, LED scene lights, and DOT-compliant emergency lighting for contractors, utility vehicles, and service trucks across Anchorage.
How long does LED headlight installation take?
Most LED headlight upgrades take 1–2 hours. Adding a relay harness and aiming adds about 30 minutes. Light bar installations with switch wiring typically take 2–4 hours.
