UTV with sound bar and light bar in Alaska

Waterproof or
It Doesn't Belong on a UTV

Alaska's trails are brutal — river crossings, dust storms, and mud pits that would kill any consumer electronics. Every component we install on UTVs is IP67 or IP68 waterproof rated. We run wire looms with UV-resistant split loom, use marine-grade connectors, and mount components where vibration won't destroy them.

  • IP67/IP68 waterproof speakers, amps, and head units
  • Marine-grade wiring connectors — not household zip ties
  • ROPS roll cage mounting with vibration-dampened hardware
  • Waterproof Bluetooth controllers with glove-friendly interface
  • Sound bars specifically designed for UTV acoustics

UTV & Powersports
Electronics

Side-by-Side Audio

ROPS-mounted sound bars, waterproof speakers, amps, and Bluetooth head units for Polaris, Can-Am, Yamaha, and Arctic Cat.

LED Light Bars

Single and dual-row light bars, pod lights, whip lights, and rock lights. Wired with proper relays and switches.

Communication Systems

Intercom systems for helmeted drivers, GPS navigation, and UHF radio for group rides across Alaska backcountry.

Heated Accessories

Heated seat kits, handlebar warmers, and 12V power management for winter UTV operation in Alaska.

Winches & Electrical

Winch installation, dual-battery systems, and power distribution blocks for overlanding and recovery builds.

ATV & Snowmobile

Speakers, GPS, and auxiliary lighting for ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft — waterproof builds only.

Alaska`s backcountry doesn't care about your warranty. Your UTV electronics should be built for the worst day you`ll ever have out there.

We've seen consumer sound bars shatter from vibration on Hatcher Pass roads. We've seen wiring harnesses corrode from one river crossing. Everything we install on a UTV is rated for what Alaska actually throws at it — not what looks good on a spec sheet in a California warehouse.

UTV Audio
Questions

What sound bar brands do you install on UTVs?
We install JL Audio, Kicker, and Rockford Fosgate UTV-specific sound bars. These brands make enclosures specifically designed for the ROPS roll cage mounting dimensions and the acoustic challenges of open-cabin vehicles.
Will the audio work in cold Alaska winters?
Yes. We use components rated for wide temperature ranges. Amplifiers are mounted where heat can dissipate, and we use marine-grade wiring that stays flexible at sub-zero temperatures. Some electronics require a brief warm-up period at extreme cold, which is normal.
Can you add a UTV audio system to an existing machine?
Absolutely. We do audio retrofits on existing UTVs all the time. We assess your current wiring, battery capacity, and available mounting locations before recommending a system that works with your specific machine.
Do you install UTV intercom systems?
Yes. We install Rugged Radios, Sena, and J&M intercoms for helmeted riders. Intercoms allow driver-to-passenger communication without shouting and can integrate with hand-held radios for group rides.
How long does a full UTV audio build take?
A basic sound bar with Bluetooth head unit takes 3–5 hours. A full build with sound bars, light bars, intercom, and auxiliary power typically takes 1–2 days. We'll give you an accurate timeline after reviewing your build list.
